Main uses

Desalination and purification

Remove soluble salts (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium ions) and heavy metals (lead, arsenic, mercury, etc.) from water to produce high-purity water.

Microbial control

Filter bacteria, viruses, colloids, etc. to reduce the risk of biological contamination.

Chemical removal

Remove harmful components such as organic matter (pesticides, dyes), fluoride, nitrates, etc.

Water softening

Replace traditional ion exchange resins to solve the problem of hard water scaling.

Electronics/semiconductors: Ultrapure water is used for chip cleaning and wafer manufacturing, requiring a resistivity of ≥18 MΩ·cm.

Pharmaceuticals/bioengineering: Water for injection (WFI), sterile preparation production, in compliance with GMP standards.

Electricity/energy: boiler feed water (to prevent scaling and corrosion of thermal equipment), cooling water for nuclear power plants.
